Liberate Melissa
My name is Melissa, I am a 27 year old woman who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 5 years ago. I have been spending my time researching MS medication, cures and treatment with expensive drugs and injections prescribed by my neuologist, until now! The Liberation Treatment was founded by Dr. Zamboni of Italy and has given all people living with MS a chance to live a 'normal' life, free from the various symtoms associated with MS. Chronic CerebroSpinal Venous Insufficiency or CCSVI, is a new vascular study that has brought hope into the lives of everyone who even knows someone with MS.
I live in Canada where there is a large concentration of people living with MS, and we are all very hopeful for what the future holds! The Liberation Procedure can give me and others suffering from MS our lives back! Unfortunaly this procedure is not approved in Canada, where our health care system is slow to react to new treatments, and the drug companies and the neurologists would rather make a fortune selling and prescribing medication to people struggling with this terrible disease
Going to Poland where the treatment is offered, in the near future to have testing of my main jugular veins in the neck is the only option.
If my veins look as though they are narrowing and the blood flow is being blocked, they can perform the procedure and I could come out symptom free.
The total cost of this procedure, because it is not being offered in Canada or the US, including testing, treatment, airfare and accomodation is $13,000
I do suffer from daily symptoms such as vertigo, blurred vision, fatigue, and numbness. All of which I would prefer to be gone. After living with MS for the past 5 years, I have been able to adapt to my 'new' body, however, would much rather have my 'old' self back :) I am married to a wonderful husband with a beautiful home and would love nothing more to eventually have children one day!!!
